Nightlife

Maui Nightlife

Maui nightlife is something to explore for all adults; you don’t have to be in a shoulder-to-shoulder packed dance clubs with flashing lights and a thundering bass boom. What you can find, is plenty of live local entertainment and dancing all over. Whether you’re looking for a bouncing club atmosphere, little local Maui bar with karaoke, or live music, food, and dancing, we guarantee there’s a Maui nightlife venue for you!

Maui’s Top Nightlife Spots

Cassanova Italian Restaurant and Deli in Makawao is one of the best spots on Maui for nightlife. Featuring live music, dancing, and excellent food, Cassanova is at the top of our nighttime fun list. On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights the place busts loose with the hottest live bands on the island, making Cassanova the closest thing you will find to big city-style nightlife on Maui. Charlie’s Restaurant and Saloon in Pāʻia is a favorite of famous Maui resident Willie Nelson, who sometimes appears onstage with impromptu performances. Several pool tables, live bands, and a hopping bar make Charlie’s a favorite local hot spot. Life’s a Beach in Kihei is a super fun pseudo-dive bar in Maui across from the beach with sports, pool tables, karaoke, and great live music nightly.

Other Fun Maui Nightlife Locations

The Sly Mongoose in Lāhaina is a great little neighborhood bar that features karaoke and some of the friendliest bartenders around. Also in Lāhaina is The Dirty Monkey, which specializes in serving whiskies from around the world and has live music weekly. Kahale’s Dive Bar in Kīhei packs out with their killer live entertainment, especially when acclaimed Maui recording artists Willie K or Amy Hānaiali‘i Gilliam are playing there. If you want something a big more upscale, Hula Grill in Kā‘anapali is a comfortable beachside hangout with good food and live local music.
