Holokai Kayak & Snorkel Adventures

Enjoy a day on the beautiful waters of Kane’ohe Bay, while at the same time giving back to the local community! Kayak, sail, or stand up paddleboard over calm, crystal clear water, or delve into the colorful underwater world. Whichever tour you choose, 100% of the proceeds benefit both Kama’aina Kids, an organization dedicated to serving local children and their families through a wide variety of quality childcare programs, as well as He’eia State Park. Containing Oahu’s only barrier reef, He’eia State Park offers some of the calmest waters and best snorkeling on the island, which makes this a perfect location for a day on the water.

Guided Kayak & Snorkel

Get in a great workout by kayaking the bay. Paddle to locations such as Coconut Island, home to the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, or one of the bay’s many beautiful reefs. All the snorkel gear you need is provided so you can descend into the underwater world and swim with sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish in their natural habitats. Then enjoy a Hawaiian BBQ picnic lunch on the beach with the Koolau Mountains providing a dramatic backdrop.

Guided Hobie Catamaran Sailing

The tranquil waters of Kaneohe Bay provide the perfect locale to try your hand at sailing. Aboard an 18 foot Hobie Getaway Catamaran, a certified instructor will teach you basic sailing skills. Or if you’d rather, you can sit back and enjoy the views while your guide does the work! Sail by popular sites such as Pa’e Pa’e o He’eia Fishpond, Chinaman’s Hat, Papio Palace, and Sandbar (sunken island). You’ll also get a chance to snorkel with honu (green sea turtles), fish, live coral, and sea cucumbers. This four hour adventure will provide stunning photo opportunities, so be sure to bring your waterproof camera!

Self-Guided Kayak, Snorkel, and Stand Up Paddling

If you’d like to get active on the water but would rather adventure without a guide, gear rentals are also available. The knowledgeable Holokai guides will go over gear use and point you in the right direction so you can enjoy your solo adventure!
